They enjoyed a meal, some information & prizes, and a
special visitor from Alamogordo, New Mexico as well!

Friday April 25 brought sessions
in the morning and the
annual meeting in the afternoon.
Carlsbad, New Mexico bid for the
2010 Conference and won it! They passed out information and "bat rings" to everyone!
Shawnee, Oklahoma treated everyone to a
rare preview of things to come for
NACA Conference XXIII -
It will be held April 16-April 18, 2009!

Lake Havasu City, Arizona
gave a slide presentation
of their area and announced
their intent to bid next year
for the
2011 Conference!
One of the conference highlights was the Annual Banquet, which occurred Friday evening, April 25
at The Wichita Club in downtown Wichita Falls, Texas. After a delicious meal, NACA members enjoyed an awards program that recognized incoming board members, First Timers, the group that traveled the farthest (Aberdeen, SD), the largest group in attendance (Lake Havasu City, AZ), the group with the "best spirit" (Kilgore, TX), the group voted "best uniform" (Aberdeen, SD), and
4 new Lifetime members: Christine Snyder, Beverly Shortes, Candy Boyer, and Peter Vaughan!
The banquet ended with an exciting Live Auction!
After a trying time with weather and flights, the Lake Havasu City group was proud to host the
hospitality room back at the Hampton Inn, where ambassadors could visit old friends and make new ones!
Saturday morning, April 26, was the official wrap-up of the conference.
We were treated to Dr. Michaelle Kitchen and Peter Vaughan, as well as the
closing of the Silent Auction --
